Visitors to campus have multiple parking options: 

  • Garages – Parking garages offer metered spaces at an hourly or daily rate.
  • Parking meters – a number of 45-minute parking meters are available throughout campus.
  • Visitor permits – A $5/day visitor permit is available from the Office of Parking Services online or during normal business hours.
  • After hours/weekends – During the semester, parking is free after 5 pm and on weekends in yellow and green lots (after 7 pm in red lots).

Public Transportation 

The Muncie Indiana Transit System (MITS) offers two routes to campus Monday through Saturday stopping in the heart of campus at University Avenue and McKinley Avenue. An additional Saturday route stops at Riverside Avenue.
