Parking Garages

Event parking is available in the garages after 6 p.m. on the evenings of events (with 7:30 p.m. start time).

The closest and recommended parking is available in the McKinley Avenue Parking Garage (behind Sursa Hall; across the street from Emens) at McKinley and Ashland Avenues.

There are a few university construction projects surrounding our facility that are impacting our parking and ingress situations. The Emens Parking Garage no longer exists and Woodworth Drive (to the east of the auditorium) has recently been removed. There will no longer be parking access directly to the east of the auditorium.

A new parking garage has been constructed on New York Ave. The New York Avenue Parking Garage will open Fall 2020.

The Student Center Parking Garage near McKinley Avenue and Gilbert Street is an additional option that frequently has a shuttle bus drop off.

There may be a nominal cash fee for parking in these structures.

Circle Drive, located adjacent to Emens Auditorium, is police controlled. Individuals who have difficulty walking long distances can be dropped off along Circle Drive. The driver will be asked to vacate this area immediately in order to allow access to the shuttle buses and others needing this drop-off service.

Parking spaces are reserved for accessible parking in all parking structures. The McKinley Avenue Parking Garage also features an elevator for easy access. Patrons who find it difficult to walk long distances can be dropped off in the circle drive located at the main entrance of Emens.

Shuttle Bus service is available around campus at no cost with no ID required.

Four (4) separate shuttle bus routes—known as the red, blue, green and orange loops—run on campus. Three of these routes – red, green, & orange – stop at Emens Auditorium, McKinley Parking Garage, and Student Center Parking Garage as indicated on the map above.
