STOMP – CELEBRATING 30 YEARS IN NORTH AMERICA.

This unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy was created in Brighton, UK, in the summer of 1991. It was the result of a ten-year collaboration between its creators, Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas.

STOMP does not have a storyline like a traditional musical or play. There is no dialogue or plot. Instead, the eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments – matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and hubcaps, just to name a few – to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.

STOMP has a beat that just won’t quit!” - San Francisco Chronicle

“If you haven’t seen STOMP, GO! If you have seen it, take someone and share the pleasure!” - Boston Globe
