The conclusion: the popular device offers an impressive user experience for reading, Web browsing or movies, meaning consumers may favor using it primarily for leisure and entertainment. They also may choose to wait until the price goes down before purchasing.

Audiences across the country will view video packages produced by Ball State students during the upcoming college football season as a result of an exclusive agreement the university has signed with the Mid-American Conference (MAC).

Starting this fall, Ball State will offer qualifying recipients of certain external scholarships such as the 21st Century Scholarship, annual $3,000 room and board scholarships following approval of a change in financial aid policy by the university's Board of Trustees. The university's 2010-11 general fund and auxiliary fund budgets and 2011-13 legislative requests received favorable action, as well.

A committee representing broad participation from the campus community will conduct a routine assessment of the Ball State athletics program. The review must be conducted in 10-year cycles at all NCAA Division I institutions to validate alignment with the Association's goals and standards. A positive outcome would result in recertification of Ball State's participation in NCAA intercollegiate play.
