Ball State will recognize alumna Angela Ahrendts, head of British luxury brand Burberry, and longtime friend and benefactor of the university John Scheumann during annual spring Commencement exercises on May 8. Ahrendts will be the day's principal speaker and recipient of an honorary doctor of humane letters degree, while Scheumann will be presented with the President's Medal of Distinction.
