Philanthropy Education Council
The Philanthropy Education Council is the Ball State University Foundation’s official student group in charge of student and campus engagement and philanthropy for the award-winning One Ball State Day (OBSD). Students plan and execute OBSD events such as Cardinal Cab, I Spy Charlie, Pizza with the President, Cardinal Nest, and other activities. The council also assists in the campus-wide Thank a Donor Day where students and employees are given an opportunity to personally thank the thousands of alumni, parents, and friends who make gifts to support the University. It is the mission of PEC to educate their Ball State student peers about philanthropy at the University and answering the call to Beneficence.
- Be an ambassador for the University.
- Gain digital media, planning, organization, and leadership skills.
- Help plan high-profile events such as the University’s giving day—One Ball State Day.
