Established in 1951, the Ball State Foundation started off with just a handful of members and few thousand dollars to invest. Today, almost 70 years later, we work in partnership with the university to help realize its strategic goals. And—because of your generous gifts—we have a considerably larger amount to invest. We support the university, its mission, and its students by carefully stewarding, prudently investing, and strategically allocating private gifts for scholarships, faculty, and programs.
We Serve with Integrity
The Ball State Foundation is driven by the principles of fiscal responsibility, accountability, transparency, commitment to alumni and donors, and responsible stewardship. A governing board of directors provides fiduciary oversight and serves to help connect alumni, friends, and the community to Ball State through engagement and philanthropy. We are here to serve you.
Our Mission Our Vision
Each year, the Ball State University Foundation produces an annual report and files a 990 Form with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Our latest 990 form, and those of the previous two years, can be accessed here. Download reports.
