The Ball State University Foundation today revealed the recipients of the University’s annual “Top 100 Student Awards,” now in its fifth year of recognizing outstanding undergraduate student achievement.
This awards program honors 100 exceptional junior and senior undergraduates who represent beneficence in three areas: academic excellence, campus leadership, and community impact.
The full list of Ball State’s 2026 Top 100 Students is available on the Foundation’s website.
“We’re proud to celebrate this remarkable group of students through the Top 100 Student Awards for a fifth year,” said Lola Mauer, associate vice president of engagement and strategy at the Ball State University Foundation. “Their achievements reflect what it means to lead with purpose—earning success in the classroom while making a meaningful impact across campus and in the community. We hope this recognition not only honors what they’ve accomplished at Ball State, but also strengthens their connection to the University and the people who will support them long after graduation.”
Established in the 2021-22 academic year, the Top 100 Student Awards program is designed to recognize and educate students—future young alumni—on the importance of staying connected to Ball State while continuing to grow a culture of beneficence. Students apply directly for the honor and submit a letter of recommendation from a Ball State faculty or staff member, professional employee, or graduate student. A selected group of Ball State alumni from around the country evaluates applications.
In addition to University-wide recognition, Top 100 Students receive several benefits, including recognition through media and social media, a professional headshot opportunity, resume verbiage, engagement opportunities such as One Ball State Day (being held April 1 this year), opportunities to connect with alumni, and a gold cord to wear at Commencement.
All Top 100 honorees will be celebrated at a recognition event on March 21 at Sursa Performance Hall, where additional honorees will also be revealed.
