Professor overlooks computersBall State University’s Office of Immersive Learning is pleased to accept proposals for the financial support of immersive learning projects.The Provost Immersive Learning Pilot Projects/One-Time Grant program provides financial support for one-time immersive learning projects or pilot projects that have not been funded before. Applications for this grant are submitted by the proposed project’s faculty mentor and must be approved by the applicant’s department chair and college dean. The deadline for the Fall 2026 Provost immersive Learning Pilot Grant is September 18, 2026.

Professor overlooks computersImmersive learning brings together student-driven teams guided by faculty mentors to create high-impact learning experiences. Through immersive learning, students earn credit for working collaboratively with businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies to address community challenges. The faculty awards recognize faculty who have led outstanding projects. The deadline for nominations is February 26, 2027.

Immersive Learning recognizes a student team that goes above and beyond the requirements of their immersive learning class to produce uncommon results for their partner and our local community. The deadline is Friday, March 26, 2027.
