Immersive Learning

Immersive learning brings together student-driven teams guided by faculty mentors to create high-impact learning experiences. Through immersive learning, students earn credit for working collaboratively with businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies to address community challenges. The faculty awards recognize faculty who have led outstanding projects.

Teamwork and collaboration are essential components of a successful immersive learning project. Immersive Learning recognizes a student team that goes above and beyond the requirements of their immersive learning class to produce uncommon results for their partner and our local community.

Join us for the Immersive Learning Showcase on Monday, April 13, 2026 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm in the Student Center Cardinal Hall. Awards will be given including the Immersive Learning Faculty Awards, Immersive Learning Student Team Award, and the Community Partner Award.
