Ruoran Liu is a PhD candidate at Cleveland State University where her dissertation is "Old World in the New Economy: A Half Century’s Technological Innovation in the American Rust Belt and Traditional Manufacturing Industries." Her research interests primarily center on sustainable economic development in underprivileged areas and communities.
