Embedded Tutoring
Embedded tutoring is a well-researched, highly effective model of academic support in which a tutor who has earned an A in a course (with a specific instructor) attends the course again, providing in-class support to students.
The delivery in the classroom must not be solely lecture-based; there must be time for individual and/or group work and discussion.
In addition to providing tutoring support in class, the embedded tutor also holds drop-in hours outside of class.
