Please consider including the following information about the Learning Center on your syllabus and Canvas site:
The Learning Center offers free tutoring for many courses. We also provide writing and study skills tutoring. Students can make appointments for virtual (Zoom) or in-person (NQ 350) appointments. Students can begin making appointments on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Tutoring will begin on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
To make an appointment, visit my.bsu.edu and click on “Navigate” in the Additional Tools section, or just go directly tohttps://bsu.navigate.eab.com. You can also download the Navigate Student app.
The Learning Center also has drop-in tutoring (no appointment necessary) for math, chemistry, and physics. Check our website for more information.
Testing accommodations for students with disabilities are available for students who have received the appropriate documentation from Disability Services. Tests may be administered in the Learning Center.
Supplemental Instruction is available in select courses. If you have an SI leader for your course, that person will provide students with information the first week of school regarding weekly study sessions. To import, in Canvas, click on "Commons" on the left menu bar. Search for "Ball State University Learning Center Spring 2023." Click on the module. Click "Import/Download" and select which course you would like to import it into. Click "Import Into Course."
