Jim Mills
Learning Center Assistant Director
I’m Jim Mills, the Assistant Director of the Learning Center. Prior to joining the Learning Center team, I was an academic advisor for first-year students. My favorite part of both roles has been helping students find creative solutions to whatever obstacles they might be facing.
I enjoy being a collector of many things (vinyl, action figures, Legos...); most of which are on display in my office. I also enjoy acting and have recently been in several local productions.
Chirp, chirp! I’m a two-time BSU alum, earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in adult, higher, and community education. I’m rumored to be the second most famous Jim to graduate from Ball State – just ask Garfield.
