About Sarah
Sarah joined Ball State Online in 2023. With many years of experience teaching, mentoring, and supporting students throughout their university journey, she strives to understand the challenges each student faces, provide them the resources and information they need, and be a cheerleader for their success. With the goal of continually improving her ability to identify and support student needs, Sarah has completed the Mental Health First Aid course from The National Council for Mental Wellbeing and is a certified Associate Academic Life Coach through CTEDU.
Before joining Ball State, she taught numerous fine arts courses and worked with a team of colleagues and peer mentors to run the Summer Bridge program for First-Year Experience BFA students at Herron School of Art + Design. While there, she was awarded a Teaching Residency in 2023 and received the Associate Faculty Teaching Award in 2021.
With her creative background, Sarah also maintains her studio art practice and exhibits in regional and local galleries and museums.
