The Early Childhood Transition to Teaching program certifies students who have degrees in other majors to teach in early childhood or kindergarten/primary classroom settings. By completing the program and passing state-mandated licensing tests, students will be qualified to teach elementary children with an Indiana teaching license in preK - 3rd grade.
If you live and work in Indiana, you may qualify for the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® Indiana scholarship that can cover most of your tuition and book costs. Learn more.
A Transition to Teaching Scholarship is available to students interested in pursuing a career in education. This is a need-based, one-time, non-renewable scholarship of up to $10,000.
Eligibility Requirements: In exchange for the Transition to Teaching Scholarship, recipients must commit to teaching for five years at an eligible Indiana school.
