Graduate Assistantships

The Miller College of Business offers graduate assistant positions in our academic departments and the college on a competitive basis for full-time students.pursuing a graduate degree in business.

Requirements

Students hired by the departments in Miller College are required to work 20 hours a week on campus. Graduate assistants may be asked to perform duties and responsibilities such as grading homework from undergraduate courses, tutoring undergraduate students, and conducting library research for several professors.

Benefits

• All graduate assistant positions receive tuition remission for their service to the University.
• The University will waive non-resident tuition for all graduate assistants, including part-time. No out-of-state fees are charged for students holding assistantships.
• Graduate assistants are also paid a competitive stipend over an academic year.

How to Apply

You must be officially admitted to a graduate business program to be eligible for a Miller College of Business assistantship. Applicants may apply anytime, and all applications are shared with the hiring units as early as March so they may begin making their hiring decisions for the following fall term.
