About Boreum Kim

Boreum Kim is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Educational Psychology at Ball State University, where she has served since 2023. Her research focuses on students’ motivation and emotions, with particular emphasis on academic achievement goals, social achievement goals, achievement emotions, and students’ academic and social adjustment in new learning contexts. She received the Best Dissertation Award from Nanyang Technological University in 2022. At Ball State, Dr. Kim teaches a range of courses in educational psychology, including developmental psychology, learning and assessment, creativity development, and research methods.
