Many exciting opportunities await you after graduation. Here, you can find some resources to help you plan for the future and decide on your next steps.

Law Scholars Program

The Ball State University Law Scholars Program is a partnership between Ball State University and Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. The program provides graduates of Ball State University with a scholarship to attend IU’s McKinney Law School in Indianapolis and obtain a Juris Doctor Degree. The scholarship equals approximately 50% off McKinney School of Law’s tuition.

The program is only open to students who have earned a bachelor's degree from Ball State University and been admitted to IU McKinney School of Law's J.D. program.

Applications to the McKinney School of Law are submitted through www.LSAC.org. Ball State graduates who are accepted into McKinney will be considered for the scholarship program.

The deadline to apply to McKinney School of Law is March 1.

Questions may be sent to Dr. Richard Petts, Associate Dean, BSU College of Sciences and Humanities, at rjpetts@bsu.edu.
