The Psychology and the Legal System concentration offers students an opportunity to specialize their education in both criminal justice and criminology (CJC) and psychological science (PSYS) with coursework focusing on the area of policing and human behavior. Students with this concentration will graduate with an understanding of the criminal justice system and the psychology of offending and deviant behavior. This concentration requires 48-51 credit hours (variation due to internship) by completing 21 credit hours in CJC and 15 credit hours in PSYS. The remaining 12-15 credit hours are directed electives, where students can choose from a list of courses that include both CJC and PSYS offerings.
