Director of Esports
About Dan Marino
Dan Marino is the Esports Director at Ball State, facilitating the operation of the
university’s exciting new esports program. Dan has worked in esports since 2016
launching successful amateur organizations and collegiate programs.
A native of New Jersey, Dan studied history and classical archaeology at Seton Hall
University. After working as an archaeologist for a number of years, Dan left the
field and embraced his passion for esports full time in 2018 before arriving at Ball
State in November 2020.
Outside of the office, Dan is a die-hard White Sox fan and avid traveler. His top
travel goal is to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
