Updates as of October 19, 2026

Recreation Services is operating with Fall Hours:

  • Due to staffing availability on homecoming, Saturday, October 24, 2026, the Rec Center will be closed.
  • We are excited to announce that the first and second layer of finish has gone down on the Main Floor.  Next up is painting the lines of the basketball/volleyball/badminton court outlines which we expect to take a majority of the week from October 19-23, 2026.  We may end up closing on Friday, October 23rd for the first layer of final finish.  If everything goes to plan, we will close on Friday, October 23rd, 2026 and Monday, October 26, 2026, for final coats of finish.
  • The Main Floor (Two-Court only) will have modified hours until further notice. Please check the hours section of the website for the most up to date information.  The Three-Court remains closed due to construction.
  • Starting August 14, 2025, Lucina Tennis Court #1/western most court (the other three courts will remain open) will be closed for the foreseeable future. This message will be updated when reopening is available.  Thank you for your patience! If you have any questions, please contact Ben Peak at Recreation Services bwpeak@bsu.edu or 765-285-3570.
  • Recreation Services patrons are expected to vacate the facility promptly upon closing, this includes locker rooms and restrooms.
  • Based on available staffing and appropriate safety measures, hours, and programming will be limited and subject to change.
