Updates as of May 4, 2026

Recreation Services is operating with Summer Hours:

  • Lewellen open recreation will have adjusted hours of 10:45 am - 12:00 pm, May 4-8, 2026 due to an academic class. 
  • The 3rd Court on the 5 Court will not be available until further notice due to a construction project.
  • Starting August 14, 2025, Lucina Tennis Court #1/western most court (the other three courts will remain open) will be closed for the foreseeable future.   • Recreation Services patrons are expected to vacate the facility promptly upon closing, this includes locker rooms and restrooms.
  • Based on available staffing and appropriate safety measures, hours, and programming will be limited and subject to change.

Facility Holidays/Closures

  • September 1, 2025: Facilities closed
  • November 26, 2025: Facilities will close at 11:30 a.m. 
  • November 27–November 30, 2025: Facilities will be closed
  • December 23, 2025: Facilities will be closed at 3 p.m.
  • December 24, 2025 – January 4, 2026: Facilities will be closed
  • January 19, 2026: Facilities will be closed
  • May 2, 2026: Facilities will be closed
  • May 25, 2026: Facilities will be closed
  • June 19-20, 2026: Facilities will be closed
  • July 3-4, 2026: Facilities will be closed
