Tuition Remission

Ball State offers a tuition remission benefit for eligible employees, their spouses, and dependent children. Additional criteria may be required for eligibility, and certain programs may not qualify.

For Fall 2026, students are eligible to receive both tuition remission and admissions merit awards. Beginning Fall 2027, new incoming students who receive both tuition remission and admissions merit aid may only apply their merit toward the remaining 10% of tuition (tuition remission covers 90% of tuition). Students cannot apply merit to fees/housing/etc., if also receiving tuition remission.

You can find tuition remission details in the policies below.
