Having already approved a $290 million general fund budget for the university during 2008-09, the Ball State Board of Trustees on July 18 passed specific spending plans for all seven academic colleges as well as other offices on campus. The board members also agreed to send to the Indiana General Assembly requests to include increased capital improvement and operating funds for Ball State in the upcoming 2009-11 state budget.
