Beth Alexander
Executive Director of Board Relations and Foundation Operations and Assistant Secretary to Foundation Board
Beth is a proud Ball State graduate and a product of donor generosity. She attended Ball State University through a full scholarship established by longtime Muncie resident Harold Ellison, whose commitment to the young people of Delaware County made her education possible. As the first person in her family to attend college, Beth understands firsthand the transformative power of philanthropy and higher education.
Throughout her career, Beth has served in a variety of leadership roles spanning student affairs, university operations, special events, board governance, and constituent engagement. Her professional experience includes more than three decades in higher education, where she has led strategic initiatives, managed complex operations, coordinated high-profile university ceremonies and donor events, and worked closely with institutional leaders and governing boards. In her current role, Beth combines her passion for higher education, relationship building, and organizational leadership to support the work of the Foundation Board, Alumni Council, and Foundation operations while advancing opportunities for students through philanthropy.
When she is not working, Beth enjoys spending time with her family. She has three grown children, Zach (spouse, Corey), Marley, and Eli. She also has two more at home—her daughter, Ella, and her niece, Savannah. She describes her family as crazy, yet joyful, and cannot imagine life without them. Beth also loves creating and crafting, including crocheting, knitting, and sewing. She enjoys putting pieces together and creating something beautiful, whether through a handmade project or a creative endeavor.
