The Creative Writing Program Visiting Writer Series and Women’s, Gender and African American Studies welcome Indiana author, Melissa Fraterrigo for a reading and book signing, Thursday, November 12, 5:00 PM in Robert Bell 125.
The event is free and open to the community. We will include a brief Q and A.
Melissa Fraterrigo’s memoir, The Perils of Girlhood was published by the University of Nebraska Press in Fall 2025, and named by Literary Hub as one of “100 Notable Small Press Books of 2025.” It was also nominated for an Indiana Author Award. She is also the author of the novel Glory Days (University of Nebraska Press), and the story collection The Longest Pregnancy (Livingston Press).
