The School of Art invites the public to attend its series of rotating BFA Studio Art exhibitions between April 14 through May 2. Graduating seniors will display artworks created as part of their senior capstone projects, representing a dynamic range of media, concepts, and styles. This is a great chance to see the exciting art being made by some of the School of Art's seniors! All exhibitions will be in The Ned and Gloria Griner Art Gallery, just off the Atrium Food Court in the Arts & Journalism building. Free and open to the public.

Learn how using opposites or complementary elements can make your painting more dramatic and complete. In this class, you’ll explore contrast while using a goose—or a gaggle of geese—as your subject. Discover how to effectively handle a strong foreground subject when you’re unsure what to do with the background, and uncover your own “golden egg” for successful painting.

Listen! Escucha! is a devised performance exploring culture, identity, and immigration in America. Created by an ensemble of artists from diverse backgrounds, the piece invites audiences to listen, connect, and reflect on what it means to belong in today’s world. Tickets available through the College of Fine Arts box office.
