Gone are the days of your grandmother's needlepointing—today's needlepointing experience is vibrant, dynamic, and entirely customizable. In each class you can create a one-of-a-kind needlepointed piece by selecting your own thread colors. The stitch guide that accompanies the project allows you to even choose the stitches you want to use to complete the project. Open to all skill levels.

You’ll discover the art of experimentation as you cultivate a unique and personal style. From exploring the fundamental principles of texture, layering, contrast, and color to witnessing how these elements harmonize in finished paintings, this workshop offers a comprehensive exploration of mixed media techniques. Three Tuesdays, Oct. 29-Nov.12; 2:30-4 p.m. | This class is for those who have a desire to write down their memories to keep, for themselves, for family, or to publish. If you’ve started a memoir but need to get more chapters, this class is for you. If you’ve always wanted to write down pieces of your life, but had no idea where to start, this class is for you. In these three class sessions, you will write from prompts that will “capture your life” and help get your memories on the page, you’ll share your work, ideas, concerns, questions, and epiphanies. Class is for beginning and intermediate writers.
