Located at Ball State's CAP: INDY in the heart of Indianapolis, the Center for Civic Design (CCD) is a hub for education, activity, and advocacy where students engage in planning, development, design and construction that shapes cities, towns, and neighborhoods. The primary focus of CCD is to find community partners and organizations in need of assistance with projects. While CCD's main focus area is Indianapolis and the larger metropolitan area surrounding the city, the Center also welcomes work in communities throughout the state and occasionally overseas.
