The Friends of the Alexander M. Bracken Library is a group of community members, benefactors, and supporters who provide financial contributions, research materials and resources, ideas and goodwill to advance the work, services, and resources of Ball State University Libraries. Membership in the Friends of Bracken Library is open to anyone who makes a financial contribution or a gift in kind contribution to the University Libraries.

The Friends of the Alexander M. Bracken Library hosts an annual dinner and board meeting in the spring in addition to a number of free programs open to the public throughout the year.

Board of Governors

The Board of Governors of the Friends of the Alexander M. Bracken Library consists of community members, University faculty and staff, a student representative, and Libraries representatives that works in establish goals and coordinate the functions of the Friends with the university library system.
