Ms. Tanya Pearson earned a B.A. in American Studies from Smith College in Northampton, MA and an M.A. in History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she is currently ABD in the Ph.D. History program. Her research and teaching interests include women, gender and sexuality, 20th-century rock music and popular culture, oral and public history, and 20th-century and modern United States. She is the director of the Women of Rock Oral History Project.
