The Learning Center offers wonderful pre-professional career opportunities! Job opportunities include working as a tutor or Supplemental Instruction leader.

Tutors typically work 5-10 hours/week arranged with the Tutoring Coordinator. The wage for tutors is $12. The Learning Center is open for tutoring Monday – Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday 10am-2pm. Satellite drop-in tutoring centers are located on campus and have varying hours each semester.

Business Tutor - Job ID: 924002

Business tutors needed to work in the Learning Center. You must be able to tutor all or most of the initial business courses: ACC 201, 202, ECON 201, 202, ISOM 125, 210. Preference will be given to students who can also tutor upper-level business courses, such as BA 205, BL 260, ECON 221, FIN 300, ISOM 210, 249, 351, MATH 132, MGT 300, and MKG 300. Tutoring involves meeting one-on-one or in small groups with students for 50-minute tutoring sessions. Tutors help students understand the content and how to study effectively.

Chemistry tutors needed to work in the Learning Center and drop-in Satellite Center on campus. Students must be able to tutor CHEM 111 and 112. Preference will be given to applicants who can also tutor upper-level Chemistry courses and/or CHEM 101. Tutoring involves meeting one-on-one or in small groups with students for 50-minute tutoring sessions or on a drop-in basis at the Satellite Center.
