KENNY SHEPARD (AEA, SDC, AAUP) writes, directs, and choreographs projects starring Grammy, Tony, Emmy, Obie and Drama Desk award winners as well as American Idol stars. He is also a national educator with Broadway Jr. and an on-camera choreographer for their Disney Collection used in theatres and classrooms worldwide. Kenny is an Assistant Teaching Professor for Ball State University’s Theatre and Dance Department and has fellow students with credits including Broadway, National Tours, So You Think You Can Dance, and Americas Got Talent. Kenny was named 2024’s “Best Choreographer” by Broadway World Indianapolis for his work on The Rocky Horror Show, and also directs and choreographs for Michael Feinstein’s Songbook Academy and (the world’s largest) Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. Kenny’s performance credits include Off-Broadway, Atlantic City, Branson, the Indianapolis and Baltimore Symphony Orchestras, and over 100 professional regional productions including Virginia Opera’s Oklahoma! (dream ballet); CATS (Munkustrap); The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow); La Cage Aux Folles (Hanna) and many more. Other credits include NCL and RCL world cruise ships touring the Americas, Africa, Europe, Scandinavia, and Russia, and Disney World/Hollywood Studios’ Beauty and the Beast where he performed in multiple tracks including Belle’s Prince in over 1,500 performances. At Indiana University, Kenny was a Singing Hoosier and member of IU’s Theatre Dance Company and opera chorus. He graduated from Butler University with a BS in Arts Administration/Dance.
