Field Experience
Our program includes a field experience course; however, students seeking certification must independently accrue supervised fieldwork experience hours to qualify for BACB certification. According to BACB guidelines, students may begin accruing supervised fieldwork experience after starting their first course in the program.
Our Field Experience course provides students with hands-on experience in behavior analysis, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings. To enroll, students must submit an application that includes field site details, supervisor contact information, and the supervisor's resume or curriculum vitae for credential verification. Students are encouraged to choose a supervisor with expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Please note that this course is independent of supervised fieldwork hours, and we do not assist students in completing those hours. Supervised fieldwork must be provided by a qualified supervisor and is separate from this course’s requirements. Our program does not assign or provide fieldwork supervisors or locations.
Professional Licensing
With the addition of field experience hours, Ball State ABA programs are designed to meet instructional requirements for Behavior Analyst Certification Board® credentials. For more information about licensing in your state or territory please visit the Licensing Authority’s website.
