Yu-Fang Chen
Associate Professor of Music (Violin)
A native of Taiwan, Yu-Fang Chen received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the National Institute of the Arts (Taipei, Taiwan) and her doctor of musical arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. A sought after performer and pedagogue, Dr. Chen has taught and performed at various music institutions and festivals in more than fifteen countries on four continents. Dr. Chen previously taught at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and served as a member of the Kansas City Symphony, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, and the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra.
