Named Opportunity University by Carnegie

  • Ball State has been named an “Opportunity College and University” by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. The classification assesses institutions on how well alumni earnings stack up against others in the same regional job markets. Ball State is the only public institution in Indiana to receive this recognition.

AACSB Accredited

  • All but two of Miller College's programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)—a distinction earned by less than 6 percent of the world's business schools—reflecting our adherence to rigorous standards of excellence.

University Sales Center Alliance

  • Full Membership Status: The Ball State Center for Professional Selling is one of only 39 full-member University Sales Center Alliance (USCA) schools. Ball State was one of the five founding members of the USCA. Full membership is based on the school having a designated sales center, sales training (recording) facilities, small class sizes, and a quality teaching/research faculty.
  • The Center for Professional Selling’s annual Sales Career Fair is one of the largest of its kind in the country

  • The Miller College online bachelor’s in logistics and supply chain management secured an impressive #19 ranking out of the 25 schools in TechGuide’s 2024 best-of-program rankings.

International Insurance Society

  • Ball State is one of only a few universities worldwide to be designated a Global Center of Insurance Excellence by the International Insurance Society since 2017.

Sales Education Foundation
