Make Healthcare Your Business
Perhaps you’re a healthcare professional looking to boost your career but not quite ready to begin Ball State’s nationally ranked MBA. The Ball State MBA offers a 12-credit graduate certificate in healthcare administration.
The graduate certificate is an added credential that keeps you current professionally and shows your employer that you’re serious about adding to your administrative skills. In addition to developing a comprehensive understanding of state-of-the-art business practices, you’ll learn to apply business knowledge to the healthcare field.
You can take some of the same courses offered through the concentration in healthcare administration and apply your 12 credits to the MBA degree.
- MBA 640 Introduction to Healthcare Administration
- MBA 647 Financial Management and Performance Evaluation in Healthcare Organizations
- MBA 649 Strategic Management in Health Administration
- BUSA 603 Fundamentals of Management and Marketing
or MBA 601 Entrepreneurial Leadership
We’ll help you plan your courses: BUSA 603 or MBA 601 will depend on credits from your undergraduate degree.
Course Delivery Options
We offer three options: on campus, online, or hybrid. Outcomes are the same for each, and you’ll learn from the same distinguished faculty.
Please note that beginning Fall 2023, our business graduate certificates will ONLY be offered 100% online. Email us at email@example.com if you have questions about our program or this change in delivery method.
Here at Ball State, you don’t have to sacrifice quality to pursue a graduate certificate online. As a virtual learner, you’ll access the same quality coursework, discussions, and distinguished faculty as on-campus students.
If you prefer in-person interactions with your professors or peers, then pursuing your graduate certificate on campus is the right choice for you. You’ll also have access to numerous on-campus opportunities.
Our hybrid approach offers the best of both worlds—the convenience of online learning with the benefits of face-to-face interaction with instructors. You can work with your advisor to determine which courses to take online or on campus.
