Dr. Michael Gambrel

Dr. Michael Gambrel brings over 20 years of experience across multiple industries including telecommunications, retail, advertising, logistics, financial services, and healthcare. He currently serves as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with Community Health Network working in Performance Excellence. He has held senior positions in operations, improvement, and analytics along with experience teaching operations management, Lean Six Sigma, and quality improvement at Ball State and Franklin University. Dr. Gambrel holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Franklin University, an MBA from Ball State with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Health Economics, Policy, and Administration and a doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Franklin University. Additionally, he holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma and SAFe Agile Methodology.

 

Lolita Chandler

With over 20 years of business and leadership experience, Lolita Chandler has leveraged business analytics for strategic decision-making and operational excellence across various sectors. As Founder and CEO of Guidenar, an innovative EdTech company, Lolita is utilizing analytics to forge career readiness solutions, aligning educational outcomes with market needs. At Google, Lolita's role as Head of Partner Process & Requirements Automation involved extensive use of business analytics to automate partner solutions and develop Go-To-Market strategies, significantly enhancing efficiency and stakeholder engagement. Prior to Google, Lolita held data-driven leadership roles at OneAmerica and Roche Diagnostics. Lolita possesses an MBA from Ball State University and a bachelor’s in organizational leadership and Supervision in Technology from Purdue University.

Braxton Forestal

Braxton Forestal is a Data Analytics expert with almost a decade of experience in the field. He graduated from Ball State in 2015 with a BA and continued on to graduate with his MBA in 2017. He started his time with TMC Transportation helping the logistics department solve all manner of data problems. Currently, he is working for HNTB as a data consultant for a project between KY and IN on the Ohio River Bridges tolling project.

Dwayne Gott 
Retired logistics and supply chain manager

Dwayne is a member of Ball State University class of 1975, B.S. in Journalism with minor in Business Administration.  He received MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business 1982.  Dwayne has over 42 years of supply chain management experience in warehouse and delivery operations and purchasing/inventory management with regional and national companies including Ferguson and Unisource. He is now retired.  

Aaron Jones
Bastian Solutions President & CEO

As President and CEO of Bastian Solutions, Aaron led his organization                                                                through the transition of becoming a subsidiary of Toyota Automated                                                                Logistics in 2017. During his tenure as president of Bastian Solutions                                                                  which started in 2014, they have grown their revenues from $150M to                                                                $760M.  He has been employed at Bastian Solutions since 2005, serving                                                              as a regional manager, national director, and vice president before taking                                                          on his role as president succeeding Bill Bastian II.  He became the                                                                        President and CEO in April of 2022.  Before Bastian Solutions, he worked                                                            as a product design engineer at Ford Motor Co./Visteon Corp from 2000-                                                            2005. From 1997-2000, he played professional baseball within the New                                                              York Yankee organization. While at Bastian Solutions, Aaron has received                                                          several patents in robotic applications and automated guided vehicles                                                                (AGVs). He has led five strategic acquisitions for the company in the                                                                    software, consulting, integration, and AGV functional areas. Since 2014,                                                              Bastian Solutions has been recognized numerous times as one of the                                                                  Best Places to Work in Indiana, Louisville, Texas, and St. Louis.  Aaron                                                                  holds a master’s degree in engineering management from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical                                                                engineering from Southern Illinois University, while also being named the                                                          Universities Top Scholar Athlete and an All-American Baseball Player.  

 

Yancey Jones
Sourcing Director/Global Category Leader- Product Testing/Manufacturing Goods & Services Team
Cummins, Inc.

         Within the Corporate Indirect Purchasing team, Yancey is responsible for           a global team of sourcing team members that negotiate over $900+                     Million in spending on our manufacturing plants globally.  They support                                                             all supplier-related contracts, terms, and pricing within the Product                                                                     Testing/Manufacturing Goods & Services category.  He has worked within                                                           Cummins for over 14 years in the Corporate Indirect Purchasing area                                                                 leading multiple teams.  Prior to working for Cummins, Yancey worked                                                               for supply chain within Ford Motor Company and General Motors in                                                                   plants and corporate.  Yancey holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing                                                                 and supply chain logistics from Ball State University and an MBA in                                                                       Business Leadership from Baker College.  He has a Green Belt in Six                                                                     Sigma along with being a Certified Professional in Supply Manager                                                                       (CPSM).  He is also a graduate of the Cummins Global Leadership                                                                         Development Program.  Yancey represents the North America supplier                                                               diversity initiatives for all Corporate Indirect Purchasing.  He’s previously                                                           been a leader within the Indiana Black Expo’s Summer Celebration                                                                       representing Cummins volunteers.  He has been a part of the Ball State                                                             University’s Logistica & Supply Chain Advisory Board for over 14 years                                                                 and is an annual presenter at their Dialogue Days event.  Yancey has                                                                   been a leader within his church’s volunteers for the Recreation Ministry                                                             and other ministries over the years.  Finally, he’s one of the contributors                                                             for the Cummins Advocating for Racial Equity (CARE) initiative for the                                                                   Supplier Impact committee providing diversity procurement support.  He                                                           lives in Fortville, IN, with his wife, Channelle and two dogs, Cate and                                                                    Carter.  He loves to travel globally and has been a big Formula 1 fan for                                                              over 20 years.  He also loves to spend time watching sports and riding                                                                bikes with his wife, daughter, Monay and son-in-law, Dayo. 

 

 

Megan Mills

          Megan is the Vice President of Global Procurement at Genesys, the                      global leader in cloud customer experience and contact center                              solutions. Prior to Genesys, Megan spent over 20 years in progressive                procurement, operations, supply chain management, and business                                                                    leadership roles at Allegion, Ingersoll Rand, and Delta Faucet. She holds                                                              a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management from Ball State                                                            University and a Master of Business Administration degree from                                                                          Colorado State University.
