Leadership to the State
Superintendent Study Council
Our department sponsors two study councils: the East-Central Indiana School Study Council and the North-Central Public School Study Council. The organizations study issues, share effective practices, and conduct other activities that intend to improve the quality of education among all member schools.
Superintendent Search
Our department participates in the university search team, which offers a free service that supports Indiana school districts in finding the most suitable candidates for the superintendency to promote student success. The team offers customized, multi-step assistance. From developing application materials to candidate screening and legal compliance, the four-member team collaborates closely with school boards throughout the entire superintendent search process.
