Celebrating the Teachers College during the Centennial

A solid and engaging education begins with effective classroom teachers and draws upon the talents of counselors, psychologists, technologists, principals, superintendents, researchers, and those involved in curriculum development and special education. Since Ball State’s earliest days, the Teachers College’s programs have prepared students to step into these critical responsibilities. To recognize and celebrate the contributions of its students, faculty, and alumni, Teachers College will host events throughout November and December.

Our Teachers College

As a student in Ball State's Teachers College, you will join a community that prepares tomorrow's professionals and leaders in all areas of education—a mission that permeates through all of our departments.

Our graduates have a 93 percent placement rate thanks to our dedicated, experienced faculty responsible for our programs, many of whom consistently rank among the best of their kind in the U.S.

Internships help you familiarize yourself with K-12 administration while potentially helping you receive positive recommendations that will lead to future employment. All students in our master of arts in education program must complete an internship.
