Internships help our students determine career goals and equip them with the confidence, expertise, and connections to achieve rewarding, successful careers. They empower businesses to shape the next generation and assess students’ fit with your organization. Employers are often so impressed with our students that they scoop them up for full-time positions right after graduation.
Most internships occur during the summer and are from 20 to 40 hours a week. Although students are responsible for setting up the internship with you, the center’s internship coordinator, Dr. Rob Mathews, offers guidance to you both and approves the internship experience for credit (ENT 369).
