CERES provides a range of service functions for the Indiana community. Through its on-site workshops and energy awareness programs to the periodic public lectures by associated faculty, CERES attempts to keep Indiana citizens abreast of developments in the energy area.

The frequent dissemination of reference literature and the published work of faculty provides an additional means of contact throughout the state. As a complement to this service, the guest lecture program of CERES brings other leaders in energy research and education to Indiana to share their knowledge, offer insight, and apply their expertise to energy issues as they affect the state and region.

Here are examples of recent service activities:

Greening of the Campus Conference Series

Ball State Council on the Environment (COTE)

SBSE Digital Slide Library

Housing Unit Diagnostics

Public and Commercial Building Diagnostics
