David Clark
Academic Advisor
David Clark is a higher education professional and leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning academic advising, student development, marketing, business development, and organizational leadership. He currently serves as an Academic Advisor in First Year Advising at Ball State University, where he helps students navigate their transition to college and find pathways to success.
A Ball State alumnus, employee, and parent, David has a deep connection to the university and a strong commitment to student success. Before returning to higher education in 2023, he spent four years in the tech industry leading marketing and business development for manufacturing software company. Prior to that, David spent 13 years in not-for-profit management, and 13 years in student leadership development at Butler University and the Indiana Academy.
Outside of work, David is married and the proud father of three children (ages 20, 18, and 11) and lives in Fishers.
