Research Focus: Biopolitics, Necropolitics, Neoliberalism, and Decoloniality. Necropolitics and biopolitics have often been considered separate concepts. However, I argue that these concepts are relational and complementary.
Potential Student Project:
- Organizing a seminar on Democracy, Biopolitics, Necropolitics, and Technology in which we will invite professors from different countries to participate in our sessions.
- Helping in researching and looking for bibliographical sources.
Attributes/skills/background sought in undergraduate:
- Majors in social science, philosophy, or humanities
- Knowledge in Spanish and/or French
Mentoring Plan:
I expect that he/she works 5 hours per week. I will guide closely to the researching task.
