Ball State’s young alumni are an important part of our Cardinal family. If you graduated from Ball State within the last 10 years and you miss campus, it’s our goal to keep you connected! From social events to service projects or career resources, we hope you’ll stay in touch.

The Young Alumni Council is a group of alumni volunteers who seek to empower and engage you, our young alumni, through events, programs, and experiences that are especially crafted and geared to your interests and needs.

Apply for the Young Alumni Council Student Leadership Scholarship!

This scholarship will recognize a Ball State University upperclassman who has immersed themself in the life and culture of Ball State. The recipient will be a junior or senior whose primary residence is Indiana or New Jersey. They are highly involved in campus organizations and has made contributions to the university. Students that have been involved with the Ball State Alumni Association and/or the Ball State Foundation through work or volunteer opportunities will be given highest consideration.

This scholarship was established to honor Kate Webber, who devoted six years to the formation and promotion of the Young Alumni Council and was the staff liaison to the group for those initial six years within the office of Alumni Engagement.

Applications for this scholarship are due the Friday before May commencement every year. The recipient will be notified by the first of June.
