Past and current members of the Ball State University Foundation Board of Directors have donated more than $150,000 in gifts and pledges for a scholarship to honor David W. Bahlmann, the organization’s retiring president.
Bahlmann recently announced his retirement after 22 years of service.
The Emens Scholarship in honor of David W. Bahlmann will assist Ball State students who are part of the Emens Scholars program. The program recognizes outstanding, incoming freshmen students who have actively participated in, and provided the leadership for, academic and extracurricular activities within their high schools and local communities. Award recipients are encouraged to continue to develop these same qualities of involvement and leadership while pursuing an undergraduate degree at Ball State.
Availability of the Emens Scholarship in honor of David W. Bahlmann is dependent upon an award selection process established by Ball State. For specifics about this scholarship and others available at Ball State, contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at 765-285-5600 or visit www.bsu.edu/finaid.
