A scholarship fund totaling nearly $360,000 has been created at Ball State University in memory of alumna Carolyn E. Galloway from the estate of her mother, Evelyn Kieft Galloway. Carolyn Galloway received her bachelor's degree in business administration from Ball State in 1982.
Evelyn Galloway was born in Gary, Ind., and worked for Gary Screw and Bolt Co. She was involved with the Masque Gavel Club at Emerson High School in Gary and the First Presbyterian Church in Valparaiso, Ind.
The Carolyn E. Galloway Memorial Scholarship was established to benefit students within the Miller College of Business' Department of Marketing and Management. To qualify for the scholarship, students must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in their area of study. The award may be renewed at the discretion of the selection committee.
Availability of the Carolyn E. Galloway Memorial Scholarship is dependent upon an award selection process established by Ball State and its academic departments. For specifics about this scholarship, contact the marketing and management department at 765-285-5180.
