A gift totaling more than $73,000 has been contributed by a Ball State University alumna. The support will benefit undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a major in education, with preference for business education majors.
The Grace Jackson Fund was established through the estate of Grace Jackson, a graduate of Tolleston High School in Gary, Ind. She attended Ball State Teachers College in 1939 and 1940, during which time she was the recipient of the Lake County Scholarship Award.
Recipients of this award must maintain the minimum grade point average required for their program of study. This award is renewable provided the criteria are met, and funds may be used for expenses including tuition, room and board, books, lab fees, etc.
Availability of the Grace Jackson Fund is dependent upon an award selection process established by Ball State and its academic departments. For specifics about this scholarship, contact the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at 765-285-5300.
