The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities is offering summer camp programs for advanced students in grades 3-12.
The academy's 2008 summer schedule includes both day camps and residential camps. Day camp costs begin at $199 and residential camps start at $450.
Summer day camps include:
Grades 3-5
- "Where the Wild Things Live!" - July 7-11
- "Elements of Spirit and Legend: Native American Storytelling and Art" - July 21-25
- "Build It! Bounce It! Blow It Up!" - July 21-25
Grades 4-6
- "Solving Mysteries with Science" - June 23-27
- "Cool Chem Camp" - June 23-27
Grades 6-8
- "Rise of the Machines: The Magic of Mechanical Advantage" - July 21-25
Grades 7-9
- "Sensational Cells: Exploring Genetics" - June 23-27
Residential summer camps include:
- "Hidden Worlds" - for grades 6-8, July 6-11
- "Practicing Professions" - for grades 8-10, July 13-17
- "Introduction to C++ Programming" - for grades 11-12, July 13-18
