Information for Incoming Students
If you're new to Ball State and looking for information about dining facilities, meal plans, nutrition, or general information, watch our video for incoming students.
Ball State’s chefs are the heart of our student-focused menus. From colorful fresh fruit and veggie bars to house-smoked meats to sustainable seafood, you’re never more than a few steps away from incredible variety at Ball State.
Many menus rotate daily, showcasing adventurous culinary trends alongside tried-and-true favorites.
If you have a food allergy or other dietary need, dine with confidence at Ball State. Your health and safety are our priority.
Any student with a meal plan is welcome to contact us and schedule a one-on-one meeting with Dining’s wellness nutritionist for consulting as it relates to eating at Ball State—from help finding healthy variety to arranging individual accommodations.
If your dietary needs require special menu planning or special food preparation, please have your doctor fill out our dietary needs form. We’ll then contact you to learn more about your individual requirements.
