DOMA Art Alliance Program

The DOMA Art Alliance was formed to stimulate public interest and participation in the museum's collection, exhibitions, and programs. Alliance members participate in educational meetings, luncheons, and trips, and volunteer with events and programs at the museum. Join or learn more about the Art Alliance here.

Guests are welcome to join a lunchtime presentation and discussion with Alliance members. At the November 18 program, Chyan Gilaspy, Ball State's NAGPRA Specialist, and Maria VanVreede, DOMA Registrar and Collection Manager, will provide an overview of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), why this work matters, and how it strengthens relationships through consultation, collaboration, and accountability. They will also share updates on our museum’s ongoing progress, highlighting recent accomplishments and the steps still ahead as this important work continues

This program is at the Alumni Center and the fee of $25 includes a catered lunch. Please register by November 10.
